It all depends on how much you want to sell Sir. I believe Us$12 per month per link should be the average which you should take.

ask your friend to post an availability banner/text at the space you want to sell and give it to highest bidder.

You could sell each link for around $30-$40/month. It all depends on how popular the site is, where the link will be placed and how many out going links the page has.

That depends on domain age, outbound links and page rank of all other inner pages. Up to 100$ month.

Well, things may have changed, but a few years ago I was selling text
links on my PR6 homepage for $50/mo. I limited it to ten total external
links to give more value. I sold out quickly and my customers were
asking me if I had any other PR6 sites/pages.

At that time, I remember seeing prices around the web for PR7 links
of several hundred dollars per month.

I suggest some Google research for buy links, etc.

It depend on how many links you will sell on that PR 7 link, more link mean more cheap of the price.

Does the price of a link depend on the niche or are the links all pretty standard priced?

I have seen many people trying to sell a link from a high PR homepage but none of their inside pages had any PR but that's not a good approach. Depends how popular the site is and what PR it has for its internal pages

Well, depending on the quality of the site and the number of outbound links, you an get $50 per month on average in a PR7 site. For the PR6 site, the price is about $30 on average.
