What is the value of a high-PR non-english site link?

I'm curious on your expert opinions of the value of a link from a PR7 site that is not in English.
Obviously it probably wont drive much traffic because most readers of the site won't know wtf the link says (link is in English, site is Russian) - but would it have the same value as far as Google is concerned? Could it hurt?

    Tearabite,

If the site is in the same niche it will
definitely benefit your site, even if the
    language is different.

After all English is the Internet language
and you'd be surpriced how many Russian
that surf the Net do speak and read English

And it could never hurt, concerning "G"

Definitely it will help your PR. Backlink is an issue without relationshipt with language. An Russian blog put my website on his pages, and bring me some traffic and help my PR.
