    Generally we can use two type of sitemap one is xml and second one is HTML.
    XMl sitemap for search engine to indicate to whole site internal linking and crawl all pages.
    HTMl sitemap for user.User can easily find any page from html site.

    sitemap is good for seo .. sitemap is made by xml that will include all internal links of websites ... all website should have sitemaps that will help to search engine to crawl in each and every page of websites .. generally sitemap is used by search engine to check each all internal links

    Google tells us that a sitemap is very helpful for SEO. It's encouraged by them that you get one as soon as you sign in to Google Webmaster Tools. It makes it easier for the google bot to crawl and index all your website's pages smoothly.

    I have a question about XML sitemaps. I have created my sitemap from XML-sitemap now I don't know how to pload my sitemap to my website. Please someone help me how I upload my sitemap and tell google about my sitemap from wordpress?

    I use joomla and I had to seek out a special app for making a site map, the one I have works fine, which is good as quite a few need some programming skills, The display on the sitemap page is very basic, but since I have a basic site, it doesn't matter too much, site maps are mostly for google anyway and not for visitors. what it does do though is create another page for google to crawl and effectively provides another index of my articles, which double the chance of them being picked up.

    it is a xml file & structure of all links of a particular websites. by this we can reach any link easily . sitemap generator is used to make sitemap.xml.

    Generally we are using the Two Types to Site Maps (Not 7). HTML sitemap & .xml sitemap.
    HTML sitemap for the human & .xml for the robots.
