Helllo friends we are using tiny url, mostly we use it on twitter and facebook , its useful to seo purpose or not. what is it's advantage and disadvantage.
One purpose is to obviously shorten URLs so they can fit better in the post, but it also hides the real link from search engines.
There's no reason for using it on FaceBook - on twitter an url shortener is a necessity because of the 140 character limit. Most url shorteners use a 301 redirect so they get counted as backlinks, and in theory, can pass PR. However, most of the places you use an url shortener, such as FaceBook and Twitter, are nofollow, so they're not passing linkjuice
I don't bother with shorteners, I figure why bother it's only going to gain me a few characters extra space and for my links I can usually still say what I need to in tweets anyway.
there are multiple reasons for using tinyurl. 1. shorten the url 2. mask the url 3. facebook/twitter use it so that spammers dont get any link juice which minimizes the spam
