exactly, because of the web 2.0 standard, it's not really much of an issue of whether to use www or not.
Earlier when things werent all so advanced, the www denoted that the page you were viewing was on the world wide web . Just like when you look at the C drive on your computer you get something like C:/ right? Thats why that was there. But now you dont need to type it cause if your viewing a page on a web browser then obviously your connected to the internet
Not nesscarily. You could be in offline mode or not have an internet connection be viewing an HTML page that you have made.
