what is the use of google PR

    i see many of us run after PR... even i do...
    but but just getting hugh PR what we get in return?


    directly or indirectly how PR will help us?

    There was a time where PageRank was a significant indicator of site value, although I think in recent times it has become a little bit less relevant. While it is still a good indicator of the opinion of Google of your site(s) ranking relative to sites of similar content, there are many other factors that come into play.

    In general though, if your site about widgets has a steady (several months) PR 3-4 ranking you should get more traffic from G than a widget site with only PR1-2...

    PR is not falling away. Still it matters. You need to work on content of your website. Quality content will automatically get you good PR. Aim for PR but with Good content and traffic.

    PageRank is only a indicator of site value... The more vote you get from other site or the more website that link you the higher page rank you will get...
