Ok the title says it all. I'm just curious what are the top online shops in those two countries. We all know that in US the top 3 (my personal opinion):
Amazon: used to be mainly for book, but now is good for everything that has value.
eBay: All the junk in the world for cheap.
And Bonanza: little bit from amazon and ebay but a bit cheaper.

I wonder what are the top online shops in UK and Canada. And of course + rep for input:cool::cool::cool:

Yes you are right that Amazon and Ebay are the most well known around the world for junk as well as cheap stuff :D
    Try this : debenhams.com OR british-shopping.com

I guess it looks more appealing, never tried though ;)

You're never going to get a large manufacturing tech or software company in the UK, seriously at a competitive disadvantage when it comes to international exchange rates. I'd even go as far to say that the UK is one of the worst countries to be located in for international business, because of how expensive the UK currency is and the amount of taxes. 20% consumption tax (VAT) and up to 50% income tax is pretty unheard of around the globe.

Not only do you not want to be producing there, your not going to be wanting to bank there and I'd even go as far as saying your not even going to want to be living there.
