I think Google and Yahoo are probably two of the most popular.

I think Yahoo, Google, and adbrite are about the best PPC advertisement but they all are very risky, just stick to the natural results!

I have had the best results with Google AdWords. I did try MSN AdCenter, however, I did not have a very good conversion. But for the most part, I hear people saying very good things about MSN AdCenter.

It can vary tremendously depending on your niche. For the particular offer I was testing Adbrite did horrible. I was using their PPC network, not site targeted ads.

Wow, BrainFox, haven't heard that name in a long time. I can remember when they were #3 in the space. Miss the day of $0.001 PPC bidding :)

Do not use Kanoodle. The traffic is absolutely horrible and they won't refund you for unspent ad money.

AdBrite's PPC network is horribly unfocused. They have such a diversity of small and medium publishers that you never know what you are going to get. Buying site specific with them has always worked and now with the new traffic estimator you can buy into content channels which should help.

If you're looking to drive traffic, AdBrite's active interstitial is their most effective product.
