What is the thinking behind NOT being able to change your time zone??

    I can't figure it out, what the benefit for Google is.

    As it is, CJ and my AdSense account run on roughly the same time, but for some reason my AdWords is like 13 time zones off, so I have a harder time figuring out daily data.

    Why in the world can't I change it? Why are they so gung-ho about being able to set it only once and then you're stuck with it for life?

    You have my sympathies. We have a number of client accounts that were set up by somebody else, who didn't realise that the default was in the USA.

    As a result, my scheduled reports from these always arrive 8 hours after the others...

    Because they don't care where you're advertising, they only care about where you are living. Their system cannot handle different timezones for different campaigns because of their billing.

    That's fine, PPC-Coach, but what I'm wondering is why can't I change my entire system time, for ALL campaigns? Currently, my AdWords day is between like 5pm-5pm, while AdSense (and everything else) is midnight-midnight like normal.

    I set the time zone of AdWords when I started, but now I want to change it but I can't. And Google seems very adamant about it. I don't see why they don't spend a few hours adding that feature, "Change time zone." I don't see why they'd care one way or the other, and it would sure make people's lives easier.
