    ;) Hi,
Thepast 3 days my computer hiss every 3 or 5 minutes or whenever I go to a site with database like gmail, email, popshops, or any website with pictures and websites like stumble upon, twitter, facebook and any site that looks heavy, my computer starts to hiss, like it is working very hard.

I did defragmentation already and it ismuch faster now, but I couldn't remove the hissing sound. I'm scared that it might explode or overheat. I'm also thinking when it hiss it might be releasing more radiation.

I would appreciate any input. As a matter of fact it is hissing while I'm typing.

    Sounds like a HDD issue.

Just throw in a bunch of more fans and that should cover over that hissing noise, theres a sweet fan called the tornado, 7000rpm's that should do the trick!

My computer always makes noises, moans and groans all the time, but my very large antec 1200 case has so many fans in it to mute out most hardware beeps and blurps.

Maybe there is an animal inside the case.

oh crap yea, could be your cpu fan aswell, if you got a stock one, then could be the problem as stock cpu fans adjust their rotations due to heat from the cpu chip. therefore running harder maybe wobbling a bit nicking a dust clump or worn out bearings in the cpu fan itself.

*edit*** and if you just cleaned your case, a dust clump could have gotten into your bearings case and now creating that noise for you.

another edit **** sometimes my cpu fan makes noises aswell, i got the max orb, and when it does i turn my computer off correctly then restart it, while its spinning put my index finger and pressure the fan a bit till it stops to give it a good push down into its "pin" which it spins on. not recommended but thats how i solve my cpu fan noise issues.

I don't understand much about fans since I never opened any computer in my whole life, but I'll try to see what I can do about these fans. If I'm just reading articles and the website looks light it doesn't make any sound. Thank you for all your input, but do you think it won't over heat and stop? I read in one article that their computer suddenly just stop and turn black after hissing.
    Thanks again for the info.

You can try cleaning up your fans. Clean up your cpu cooler fan and most especially the cpu heatsink. I gets clogged with dust and fibers and will make a weird noise. Also clean up your power supply fan and everthing inside it. I clean up mine regularly.
