hmmmm.. we are talking actually on secrets in Adsense success. But learning how to administer the server is also a good topic in making a website in which you can apply adsense into it afterwards.
That's a good collection indeed, Kawebspy. For details, we can read that post in the original version, without subtitles: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=336785#post336785
Yap that what I am doing too. but i am not as successful as our co-members here. I am still earning less than $10 a day.
This thread is mostly just filler. Shoe's thread is better. There are too many secrets of adsense success threads.
If this was just a filler, it would not have seen so many replies and pageviews... I agree that Shoemoney's thread is good. However, there is one difference that I would like to point out - Shoemoney offered tips. This thread asked for tips from other users and got loads of it.
My 'secret' - pick the right niche. Be a big player in a small niche and you can become a very rich person
I'm not sure who wrote this, but I think it's pretty apt. "Websites don't make MONEY, Businesses do". I think that "secret" seems to be missing here. My hints would be run your site like a business (or an employee), seek guidance when you need it, learn from your mistakes (that means you've got try stuff), and do it all with passion. When you create a business model based on your passion then everything makes sense.... also I've asked lots and lots of questions, looked at other sites and tried to figure out their layout (where are the ads? what colour are they? how many ads per page? banners or text?) and then played with that. Spent many hours/days/weeks on SEO (I've paid for an SEO service - out of my Adsense money), got myself a dedicated server (out of my adsense money) and a new PC (again a/s money). So i think here's another key be prepared to put money back into your business. I guess in a nutshell make a business that your passionate about and then as the saying goes "the money & the visitors will come"... ok I think I'm done... oops not quite:.. another problem is Mr X builds a website - tell everyones they have a website and that's it, forever, the site becomes old and dusty and no one ever uses it. A website should be nurtured and cared for, pruned and weeded and fed - just like a garden, and if it is looked after, it draws people to it and becomes a useful tool, an appreciated useful tool... hope that makes sense!!!
For those who don't know, Nalewka Babuni is a type of fruit wine (Cherry, Peach, and Honey flavours) that is typically seen in Poland. But can this really be a secret to success with AdSense? Come on...
Optimizing, Optimizing, Optimizing, Optimus Prime! Also, adding Chitika, it's tripled my paltry Adsense income.
Honestly? I spend about 80% of my time doing research. 5% building/maintaing sites and the other 15% eating/sleeping and playing with my son.
