    Hey all!

I'm the type who is very cautious when it comes to the internet and scams and I have never been scammed so far. But in regards to Paypal I am considering buying/selling domain names and also providing web services.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can avoid scams? Like I've heard of people getting the money sent to them first and then they provide the domain name or service and then the money gets reversed :| I haven't used Paypal too much so I'm just curious if you guys have any tips for me :)

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 1st thing i would do is check the feedback and itrader for the member that you are looking at dealing with, albeit its not totally bullit proof it would give you a good idea what the person is like.

The main way to avoid scam is to always deal with trusted people who are having good reputation and always take payments to your Paypal from verified Paypal accounts :)

Don't use PayPal for bigger deals. :) Use Escrow and stay safe.

Yeah, PayPal with large amounts if not very safe. Unless you have full proof that you are being scammed, PayPal may not always be in your favor if a dispute is opened by the other party. Just play it safe, and there are other alternatives for large amounts other than PayPal as stated above. I have learned this the hard way. Good luck! :)
