What is the right Paypal registration phone format?

    Hello everyone,

    I am trying to set up a Paypal account. I have been asked for my phone number. I am UK-based, and I am using a mobile phone number. Paypal apparently decided to set up my dialing code for me (+44), which does not change even if I select the mobile phone option. With a British mobile phone, you ought to add '07' before the number. I have tried to do so, typing 07393restofmynumber, and it was rejected as an incorrect phone format. I tried removing the 07, still not accepted. I tried removing the 0, so that it was '7393restofmynumber', still not accepted. Remember that Paypal puts that +44 in front of the number on its own, and I can't change that.

    Does anybody know what I am doing wrong and how I can fix it? Thank you for your help.
