    Thats your first problem.

Saying SEO is your niche. Is one of the most challanging niches.

You have to be more specific what part of SEO are you targetting then go after those keywords.

Also remember if you are going after some heavy competition niches. You might not find keywords easily

Use Google's keyword tool. Type in "SEO" and do Match Type: Exact. Then scroll all the way down and you will get a lot of brainstorming ideas for keywords.

    Hi Jash ,

It does not matter whether a domain/niche is more competitive or less...there is always a chance to succeed if you plan correctly and your site content is good ...Web is so vast that every one can have his pie..

In your case i doubt you are trying keywords whose top rankers are having High Page Ranks than yours or you are selecting low traffic keywords...

The best method i would suggest you is to lookout for long keywords..
    so
instead of a keyword like " SEO " you should try like "seo tips to top rankings" like keywords where competition is less..

Use Word tracker free version or google keyword tool ..

You can bring down even the bigger players in your domain with quality backlinking (time taking job) and good content so in my view no niche is hard for the top ranking...

If you are new, try to focus on long tail keywords first as they are a lot easier to rank for
