    Hey Guys,

I have checked the site on penalize tool and it says that ur site is being penalized.

But when I check it with site:mydomainname.com it shows result in GOOGLE.

Suggest me guys what is happening...

your site is penalized not BAN, so your site will appear on google search results. maybe u did something wrong like Black Hat Seo or break google webmaster guidelines.

You could have had a link spam report lodged against you, or maybe you simply have links to your site within a bad neighborhood. It could also be a duplicate content issue?

well if your site was being indexed by google and its not ban then it will certainly be displayed in google resuilts. Its just being penalized by google coz u might have break the rules of google or your suitable promotions might be considered as spam by search engines.
Just continue with your further promotion but being little clever and wait for next Google updates.

There may be several reasons for getting website penalized, you should fill up the reconsideration form and submit it again. Once google get the request you site will get displayed again in SERP.

Duplicate content causes PR to drop? Duplicate content meaning duplicate from other sites? or within the same site? thanks

Using "site" search on Google and having results only means your site is still indexed by Google. A PR drop would usually be the result of linking to bad neighbors or performing black hat SEO jobs on site.

    All the best,

Since your site is not banned yet, it is still a good chance anyway. You should do check on your external links and see if some of them might be a bad neighborhood. It seems your site has been penalized for PR matter and the bad external links.

Your site is not banned yet. You can check the links you have. Have you kinked to bad neighbors or have you used link spam?

You're might or might not banned by Google, check you backlinks, or you've are they still linking you and write this command in site:yourdomainname.com -asdfasdf and see how many pages are in search, if they are no pages in search then you definately are baned and in trouble. I guess you might have to hire a Professional SEO Consultant, who can give you report of your website after analysis.

Yes, your site is penalized, not exactly banned from indexing, both are different
And it can take many updates for you to get back to that PR
If you have placed any unrelated links from one of your high PR pages, then remove them, like if your site pertains to health and you have placed a internet marketing niche link from any high PR page then google assumes that you have sold links and can penalize you, remove such links and then you should be fine in the next update, you will get back your PR
