what is the real way to check index page in yahoo

    I just wondering one of my site this morning when I type site:www.mydomain.com get 9000 result.

    But this afternoon when I check it only 4,000 but when I type only www.mydomain.com I found there are 16,000 results.

    I am afraid my site have problem in yahoo because the number of pages index is drop very fast.

    dunno if its the real way but i use the same for yahoo as i do google

    site:just-4-teens.com

    google returns around 5,000 pages so i think the yahoo comand site: is pretty accurate

    Results 1 - 10 of about 4,250 for site:just-4-teens.com

    Actually, the link function doesnt work on Yahoo. It's linkdomain.

    sorry dchristo but on my system they both work but link requires full url !
    http://.... and domainlink does not

    In my book link on yahoo shows all IBL to all pages whereas linkdomain only shows links to the page requested.

    Can be checked by using - site:wwwmydomain.com

    go to firefox extention site and search for alexa.

    its the third one i think, it has built in pr bar, alexa traffic rank and right click to show indexed pages/backlinks in google yahoo and msn.

    The search status extension is called "Search Status" just search for that.
