there is another forum that is primarily for affiliate marketing, called the warrior forum. I don't go there anymore, cuz i'm not much into the affiliate thing. But most of the folks there are into the affilliate thing, and there are thousands there. google "warrior forum", but don't forget to hang out here with your friends.
First off you need a product that converts. Second you need a affiliate page that provide them with their affiliate link, banners, sample keywords (for PPC affiliate marketers), a sample email to send out to their mailing list, and details of the product like price, their commission, and what does the product do for the buyers. Once you got these things working out for you, do a google search to find the top 20 bloggers/affiliate marketers in your niche. Send them a quick email with a link to your affiliate page. It will only take a few of them to promote your product before the others jump on board.
Offer your affiliates a commission for refering another affiliates for the product..This way it will get multiplicated..
There was a good book by this guy Jay Abraham, called "getting the most".... I forgot the rest, but look it up.
