Use variety of techniques. Links from different sources, article directories, social bookmarking sites, directory, RSS feed. However, it you feel overwhelm, just focus on 1 method before you move on the next.
Back link from high pr sites , Take relevant back links only either it is one way,two way or three way........
It depends on the site really. Someone blogging about travel would naturally begin by contacting other blogs in this sector and asking for some link love. However, if you were link building for a top financial site with a solid reputation then you could make use of PR and articles which would naturally breed further links over time.
I prefer blog commenting, especially on dofollow blog with many blog posts. Sometimes I make comments on those blog posts which are a few years old.
I think variety and persistence is the key to successful link building. I try to use article marketing, blog commenting, social bookmarking, putting content on various Web 2.0 sites. Then I constantly collect links and RSS Feeds from all those entities and ping them, bookmark them, and submit them to directories. Over time, this has really paid off.
Quality links need not to be quantity let's make it simple and clear. All this strategies that are mentioned are good and valid what we need to consider are, Niche, Website PR, Do Follow and avoid Gambling and Porn sites.
What you're doing is probably having a good affect, only you haven't seen it yet as your site may have not had its' PR updated, or the pages where you have got links from, not been recrawled yet.
Somehow this is tricky to understand. I've been doing all of the above things but my links are not being documented thoroughly by analytic trackers. Does anyone know why?
doing it right is the key. i cannot expect to get ranked high by submitting to a few crappy directories, bookmarking on 200 pligg sites, and submitting one article to 1000 article directories. you are right about being patient. submit to quality sites and keep submitting, never give up till you get ranked. IT WILL WORK. most people fail because they start great but give up too early. patience is the virtue...
I do following for link building and getting desired result.. Directory Submission Article posting Classified Ad postng Press release Company Profile Posting Answer Posting (Yahoo, Wiki, ) Forum Participation & Posting Blog Posting Relevent blog Comment Posting Social Bookmarking
What a brilliant summary an guide for any new SEO to look at. Very good of you to give all the information away for free, thanks.
quality links from link building networks which distribute your articles to other blogs/sites. (articleranks, SeoLinkVine, UAW, Matt Callen's AMA / MAN etc..Linkvana, Backlinksolutions and so forth. Check linkvanareviews.com he does pretty good reviews of those services. Of course there are differences, some of those services are better than others. BLOG COMMENTING: Almost a waste of time, same with profiles and Angela/Pauls. IF you try any of those link building networks you will wonder why you ever wasted time with blog commenting. Of course there are more ways, eg. asking site owners to place your links, stuff like that. Guest blogging is good too.
