What is the purpose of the frames option?

As some of you may or may not know, I was 'declined' the right to use frames and/with AdSense. I was trying to shows ads for moving companies on my selling page within my real estate website. G did not like that. So, it got me thinking, what then is the purpose of the frames option? Everytime I think of a real use for it, I think right away "well, someone can still manipulate the data by the editing the source code of the html page"

Frames could be easily abused. That's why Google is quite reluctant to accept them in full.

Some people have their pages layed out in iframes, etc... and it's content FOR their own site-- so they may have some keywords in those frames, that the googlebot would not see unless it checked specifically for keywords in those frames.

If they caught you feeding in other sites in a frame, I take it they'd decline you for frames.

The sites are all my own sites, I am not trying to feed my info to anyone. I still don't get it. They give you the ability to use frames, but I need to see an example and why the company couldn't just paste the code directly into their pages...

My sites our all frames, and I know the adsense frame code is what you really need if you have a framed site.

Without using the frame code, my adsense ads were all way off target. For instance on my site, almost 90% of my adsense ads were about topics I had nothing to do with, once I went through and changed my adsense code to the framed code, my ads turned right away to highly relevant, and my CTR etc all went way up.

Google accepted my framed site(s) with no hassle at all........ I emailed them and asked before even starting adsense, and they said they were fine for adsense

    BlueGill,

Can you PM me a site so I can have a look to see how to properly apply the frame technique. It is possible that I just did not apply it properly when I emailed G.

    Your missing the boat........

The frame code is applied just like any adsense code, except when you pick your adsense layout, ie; vertical or horizontal, size, colors, etc...
you just click on the little button that says:

O Ad will be placed on a framed page

when you select that option, it ads code to the adsense code that tells it your page is nested in a framed site.

Are you understanding what a framed site is ? A website that uses frames, uses multiple windows. It harder for a spider or other SE to find your links and other info on a framed site. And if your framed site is about different subjects on every window or frame, it's a mess for the search engines or adsense to figure out each window or frames content. That what the adsense frame code is for. It works great though, and has helped my site a lot since it is a 4 window (framed) site.

    Bluegill,

I get it. I just want to see a live example to see if what I was doing is the same as others.
