You can buy a resellers package or set up own server and install 2 high speed internet lines to your server. You would also need a back up generator and someone to update server and trouble shoot it.

Best bet buy reseller package it is cheaper in long run.

    1. Set it up.
    2. Blow your brains out for setting up such a low-margin pain-in-the-ass business. ;)

Gee, why not start a dial-up ISP in San Francisco while you're at it. :D

Yeah, I saw some guy selling hosting for $0.50 on DP...

It would be expensive even to pay for the electricity for the server.

How do reseller packages work though?

    Thanks!

Well, I don't resell, but the concept would be.

    1. You get a server.
    2. You sell hosting.
    3. You set up the new client on the C-panel or whatever you're using.
    4. You look for more clients.

It can be a total pain in the arse to even try and set one up. You have to think on a lot of things such as using a reliable data centre, costs, server uptime, backups, billing software, support software and providing support. Then you have to compete with everyone selling $1 a month hosting.

Personally I wouldn't waste my time - there are better business ideas out there that are more profitable and easier to setup.
