    Hi all,

I have 0 links with Google. I have around 200 links with Yahoo and 485 with MSN. Why google doesn't indexes my website?

But, I am getting very less traffic from google. my link is added in Google too.

What I am talking about is, if you search my site with prefix "link:"

I have many posts in DP with my site link which are listed in Yahoo and msn not on google.

    Not sure why?

Can someone show some lights on this? thanks.

Does your google sitemap account shows 0 backlinks? Chances are Google still indexes those backlinks, only thing is that is takes a while for google to show the results by link: operator.

Google only update the link: operator at the same time as the PR export. Next PR export should be around April time, so your backlinks should appear then. It's not that Google aren't aware of your backlinks - just they only share them with the world once in a while.

KC TAN has the updated info here. Google gives a very decent account of your backlinks in your google-sitemaps account (since last week or something). It's really quite good - better then the link: command in google and also better in many ways then what yahoo and MSN give. So sign up for google sitemaps. That's really a must-do for website owners now.
Google even gives the links that have rel-nofollow on them. Though I'm not sure that's an advantage.

google only updates the links you see with the link:yoursite.com once every few months...usually the same time they do pagerank updates.
