What is the point of submitting RSS feed?

    I would like to know what is the benefit or benefits of submitting RSS feed to Active web directories?

    i think the rss feeds do a ping stuff perhaps!:rolleyes:
    also your content gets published to so many sites, which helps you to spread your news pretty fast!:)

    your content gets put onto other places , i think it's good to do it frequently.
