Sorry, I'm a total noob. What is the purpose of submitting a sitemap to google? Furthermore, when I search on google there are a few web sites that come up with links beneath the website description. How would I go about achieving this? For example if you search 'world of warcraft' on google, this comes up: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=world+of+warcraft&btnG=Google+Search How do I get the links beneath the website? And what do sitemaps do?
That's because those sites have a lot of traffic and they list other high traffic pages under the main page.
