What is the value of the pagerank factor. I know it is a logarithmic scale, but what is the base of the scale. Is it the euler number or base 10 or something else?
Page Rank of PR refers to the value that in googles eyes see in each site. The higher PR the site has the more valuable it is and the higher the site it will rank in the google search engine. The PR is determined by the googles algorithm. Hope this helped.
All other factors being equal, each PR is roughly worth about 5x more than the previous PR. So 5 PR1 are the same value of 1 PR2. 5 PR2 is the same as 1 PR3. But also depends on number of links from originating page as the page rank will get shared between them.
Page ranks is a status to make people know whether your site is good. backlink and traffic can make good for your PR.
PR hasn't been a strong ranking factor in a long time, and with Panda 3.3 around, it seems PR is completely useless now.
Google continuously keeps changing its algo to decide the PR of a website..!! It decides on the changing time and quality of site
It is rather more complicated than that - have a look at the patent for Page rank: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-...&f=G&l=50&d=PALL&RefSrch=yes&Query=PN/6285999
There are more than 100 factors to determine the PR and SERP. So just go through them once and than make your strategy accordingly to that.
pagerank is designation of the webpage in the search engine and its decided upon the quality of website content and traffic on that particular webpage.
