Hey guys, The title says it all. I know there is no "real" answer to this, but based on your experiences, what has worked for you guys? For myself, I see more results when the articles are at least 300 words.
more word, google may crawl in detail. but normally my article about 200 to 300 only. I include more picture. once visitor come my website, those picture may attract them instead of all boring word
In my experience, articles perform better if they are substantial, especially if the industry is a competitive one. The more substantial it is, the more search engines will like it. If the article has outbound links to relevant pages that search engines deem to be of high quality, the article will do even better in the SERPs.
i typically try to get atleast 400-500...but i am not going to "fluff" something to just reach a word count if i can get the information across in fewer words.
Rule of thumb: The more "natural" your blog posts, the more followers you get. Number of words sortof takes care of itself with that caveat in place
I like putting pictures in my posts as well.... and most are over 200 words. Of course my blog is still new and I'm experimenting with different methods.
