What is the one true religion

Firstly, let me set a few things straight. I belong to no religion but have great interest in studying them. To me if religion does exist, then there 3 true religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

I have studied religions very carefully and am always subconsciously reasoning them against scientific theories and facts.

To me, neither the bible nor the Torah withstand scientific reasoning in many instances. However, the Quran seems to do that much better. For example, the Quran supports the basis of the universe coming into existence through the explosion of gases, I liken this to the big bang theory. Also, life began in an acquatic form, which is also supported by science. The Quran also does not disspel the theory of evolution.

My interest in religion and science was sparked a few years ago by a piece I came across a newspaper about a very famous French physicist, an athiest, converted to Islam, after questioning the major religions against scientific knowledge.

 

Neoplatonism or Perhaps Taoisim are the most accurate IMHO.



However the Jewish concept of Tzimtzum is roughly analogious to the big bang.

 

Islam belongs really into the Grimm's collections rather than being considered a religion.

 

Please do not prejudice a religion on the basis of a few acts of terrorists such as Alqaida. George Bush is supposedly very conservative, very Christian, yet he supports what Israel is doing in Lebanon and of course sent troops to Iraq for motives that would be ragraded as blasphemous. Surely, this is very unchristian of him.

 

Instead of trying to convince us, why not clean up your backyard. All I see Muslims do is blog shit up and sell drugs in Amsterdam. And turn young Dutch women into prostitutes by threatening to kill their whole family if they don't do it.

 

Yes, you will always find the bad guys in every society. If we were all angels, there would be no need for a heaven and a hell, would there?

Ok... Yes it's true that Islam have much more streamlining with the science and technology. I've read the Koran. The Torah and Bible also streamlining with the science and technology. But somehow somewhere, I still think that Koran is the most detail compared to Torah and Bible.

Religion is not about 1 person or another. Religion is about the way of life. Yes, you can see some bad guy who is Moslem, but you can see also there are some in Jews and Christian.

In a same tree, not all the apples are bad, maybe a few are bad. Please don't prejudge any religion because someone bad action.

For me, I select Moslem as my religion. But no offence to others.

 

The islam took and copy the Jewish religion and changed it a little bit to their believe and because they wanted that will be a difference between them and the jewish, so basically the islam is based on Jewish religion.
I meet in my life many Christian people that know that the Jewish people is "the chosen people" so i guess in the past the muslim was jealous and then they duplicate the Torah and change things.

And why they hate Jews?

You know, you base so much of your beliefs on science, one might consider that its own religion... philosophies of men...

I, however, believe that my religion is true (then again, if you believed in a religion, you would believe it's true, if you wanted truth),... we believe it is true because it came directly from God. (As in, God came to Joseph Smith, and Jesus Christ came with him, to restore the church)

 

You can believe in what religion you want, it's your choice and nobody will take that ...

 

At least in America it is still legal to worship in your own way. (for now)

 

Depends what you like.

If you're looking for a religion that allows worldly pleasures more than the others, then there is one religion ahead of the rest. You're allowed to pick the sword wage wars, and conquer in the name of God. You can order those who are against you killed.

Other things you get with it are you have full control over your wife. Actually you can have a few wives and they can be as young as 9 years old. Your age does not matter her opinion either as long as her father gives the go ahead. I am not talking empty words here. These things have been practiced by its what they call him messenger or prophet of God.
Here in US if you follow that example ...... boy o boy. No team of attorneys will save you from jail. I will not tell you which religion allows all that. It's only one of kind and easy to find.

The other religions don't give those "benefits". The others require that you help others, sacrifice your needs on behalf of others. Be merciful; help the poor and the ones in need. They don’t want you to kill, wage war or anything that can bring harm to people. They don't promise worldly rewards. The path they give you to walk is very narrow, with the only pleasure to serve others and much, much less serving your ego.
Make your choice wisely. For you are going to reap what you sow.

There you go, once again propagating false statements. I believe the Koran says killing another human being is like killing all mankind (I would like Muslims here to clarify if that is correct). There is no worse crime.

Correct. Actually, Satan was a very respected angel chosen by God. It was when he decided to lie to Eve about God is when he became Satan.

NO!. That is not true. Some muslims say that BUT Most muslims believe that he is not. Please read deaply in the matter.
