    Hi Annieblogger,

That really depends on the job involve. It would be great if you could provide the project details/description so we can carefully asses your needs.

Please PM me the details. Hope to hear from you.

    Hello,
DP is an open market. So there is no fixed rate for any job. Also the price charged by different people are always different since they belong to different countries and also with different experiences.
So while hiring a person for your work, you can have a bit fair idea from his/her experience or portfolio and his/her country of residence.

    Hi,
Really it depends on you and your target market, whatever your quality requirements are will determine what company/freelancer will be a good fit. You'll find all levels here on dp, you can probably start from $50 - $5000 (extreme example). It really all depends on what type of project you have. Try a post in the marketplace and you'll get a feel for the market.

    Good luck,
    Devon

Normal Rates for a website design starts from $ 100 to above. This really depends what are your requirements? Like if you want to design a flash intro page its cost will add up into your website designing. The second factor can be : If you want proper Research and development on Brand focused logo , then you will have to pay much for this!

    Regards

try to find it outside of dp

I have tried and most designers on here are idiots they dont know what they are doing I had one guy on here take a project from me and he had a great site as an example of his work then I would go browsing through the website design forum and he was asking other people how to finish the job he started for me.

make sure you really really throughly search the designer because there are allot of pure idiots who have no clue how to design on here. Just think of it why would a good designer waste there time building a great website for cheap through DP WHEN THEY CAN DO THE SAME THING FOR DOUBLE THE MONEY ON THE OUTSIDE

you get what you pay for on dp and from my expereince its not worth being cheap cause it takes forever and they do crap work

It is hilariously sad pricing on DP - if you try to offer DP's market prices to any "real" freelancer or design agency, you will be laughed out of their office/mocked openly/etc.

    It's depend on his skill.
Look at the market price in BST and maybe you can conclude it.

It depends on the job needed to be done. What's your rate per hour? How long do you think you'll be able to finish the project?

Well according to me, plain websites, like xHTML 1.01 and CSS2 and above with no other script/language/db involved - $70

$100 for a terrible website made out of images, with little text, and done in a pirated version of dreamweaver full of <td> and tables with no actual CSS? Sign me up.

dude if you have some time of your own ! just try joomla ! you can setup your site for free ! its very easy ! if you find any problem with it,you can always come and ask in DP !
or if you dont mind a CMS site ! then you can have a very good working site in 70$ or less, there would be many to work for that amount !

Annieblogger, you can post a website full design contest in the contest forum for about $100 and you should get some pretty good responses.
