Being a beginner in affiliate marketing and just completed the affiliate blog/website, I want to ask that what is the normal conversion rate?

I mean to ask that after how many visits by the visitors world wide, you make a sale?

It all depends on your quality of blog and the product you promote

1% for general somewhat relevant traffic.. for highly focused, targeted, traffic, it can reach 30%-50%... why not test it and find out?

It does depend on so many variables, mosty your ability to create sites, write well, and pre-sell your traffic, but then also on the prodcut, the vendor sales pages etc.

I'd say 1-2% is normal / good - highly targeted traffic can convert better, and if there are sales / discounts on that really are one-off in my experience conversion can be 5-10%, but I get very skeptical when I see vendors claiming a 10%+ conversion rate - perhaps they got lucky on a small sample, or sent previous buyers back to a new product sales page, or ran a few sales through themselves to get the stats..

In the end you have to just try a few products against each other and see what works for you.
