What Is the New In SEO In 2010?

I know the all thing about seo. I know on-page seo and off-page seo but I don’t know what is then new thing has been brought in 2010. So please someone knows about new thing in SEO then please let me know.

 

From an associate of mine who has been doing this a long long time...around when google started and ranked very highly for THE most competitive words...Not much has really changed with SEO in 10 years. The methods may be different, but the principles the same.

 

well 2010 is almost over, but i pretty much agree not much has changed with SEO. in fact, i see more elements of it going away.

these days you need to have a real product/service to make any money. you need to bring something of value and only add SEO as a small part of it. it comes down to marketing strategy, and finding out where your customers are and how to get to them.

Video and Facebook are the IN right now and for a long time I think. what better marketing tool than one that is direct communication to your target audience?

 

Very interesting insight. What about mobile SEO, you reckon is it going to be big ? You might probably not realizing so much, but the Admob, MobGold, other mobile ad network, is growing significantly this year.

 

thats called "interruption advertising" or "forced advertising." people don't want that on their mobile phone. its small enough as it is, they don't want ad's taking up space. when is the last time you went searching for a product or service on mobile ad networks? i find those ad's annoying.

you have to think in the way of a consumer not advertiser. people have a lot of options now. if they want something, they google it, whether it be googling from their phone or computer.

Yes, i would also like to include the same, the basic principals are the same and few changes are random. They keep on getting changed. Just be steady and you will win the race.

 

I would add Google Caffeine. Essentially, Google is now taking into consideration social activities and factoring that in when they rank webpages. That means social media, traffic, comments, blog posts, and more. Social interaction can help your website rank higher in the eyes of Google. Plus, they are including more current news articles, blog posts, Google Places, and videos on the first page of search results, which means less space for static websites on page 1.

Quality content still plays a big roll in getting a high rankings in serps as well as obtaining quality backlinks.

 

what can be new in SEo - SEO is SEO - there isnt much new stuff they do change there algorithms a little bit from time to time but the changes are really minor

 

Google Instant is new for 2010

 

SEO itself a traditional one, SEM, Social Media are the new ones. We can't say anything that there is something new in SEO.

 

Nothing groundbreaking. Create quality site with quality content and good backlinks.
Maybe in 2011 it will change with the instant preview thing from google -> there will be more weight on the design
