What is the most you've paid/been paid for a website?

As we all know, some website and domain sales have been inflated lately. What are people honestly paying for domains...you don't have to list the specific domain if you don't want to, but how much do you pay or get paid for a domain/site?

 

the most I've ever paid is $500

 

I got $1,000 for a seven letter dot com a couple of years ago.

 

i was offerd $2000 for chq.com and did not sell

 

A number of four figure and a few five figure buy/sells.

 

a couple of low $x,xxx buys and some upto mid $x,xxx sells.

Inflated? Why so? Their worth as much as someone is prepared to pay...

For just a domain, about 50 bucks. Websites sales range from about $x,xxx to xx,xxx. I am trying for a site in the $xxx,xxx range, so if you are interested, contact me.

$17k was best sale so far with lots and lots of $xxxx sales

I want to get a 25k+ sale soon. The biggest buy was $3500 for a name. I hope it pays off.

 

Wow, $17k is a pretty good amount to get for a website...would you mind sharing which domain name.

I saw the domain www.collegebound.com go for $35k on sedo...which I thought was a lot for that domain.

 

I've sold 1 of my sites for $ 13 k around 15 mths ago.

 

$500 for about five dead affiliate/search engine sites that I had planed on killing when they expired.

 

$18,000 was my highest sell. And I let the site go way undermarket value. I'm kinda pissed i sold it now. I just bought a site for $22,000 and I'm hoping to resell it in 6 months for $80k or so.

 

I Sold Nevada<nospace>MLS<dot>com around a year or so ago for $15k

Turned down an 86k offer for one site and a 300k offer for a group of sites a few months ago.

Highest I've ever spent on developed site is $500
Most I've ever paid for a domain name is $12k (not gonna say kuz I'm not done paying for it yet...)

 

Best I've ever gotten for a site was $6,000. It was in the real estate market.
