What is the most you have ever sold a domain for?

Hey, casually by and sell domains, but my profit is very marginal. I was just wondering what the most you guys have ever sold a domain for, and how much you payed for it originally(and what was the domain if you are willing to mention it)?

I sold a domain for $500 once. I bought it for $50 on ebay years ago, build it up with a customer database and then resold it a few months later. Was a good investment.

 

I only register new ones and sell for profit. The highest I earn from new names is $100+

Not everyone will pay $xxx for new names but they will consider if we list out the potential of the domain, suggestion on development and the traffic stats (if any).

750$ for a domain used to have a few hits per day.

what would a domain with a pagerank of 4 be worth?

 

I was able to package two domains for $250

 

With Pagerank 4 at least $100

 

10$ lol, not a good one, was about to expire 2

 

$65... not much I purchased it as part of a large collection (nearly 200) domains at approximately $1.50 each. If you look at it in terms of how much I paid per domain, it was a good sale... but since I haven't sold any of the remaining domains, it wasn't such a great deal.

You should buy small domain 3 to 4 letters if you can and have the luck to stumble upon a company that will pay good money for it.
They go for hard $$$

But it isn't simple these days to find available ones

$XXXX in a private transaction. Not a big fan of Sedo or other market places. You're better off picking a niche and developing contacts around it.

 

I sold one of my premium domains at sedo for $3000!
