What is the most SEO Friendly URL Structure?

    I require a suggestion from all the SEOs of the world using this forum. If I have a website and I want to make its blog page then which URL structure will be more beneficial from SEO perspective? blog.website.com or website.com/blog?

    Helpful suggestions would be highly appreciated

    I believe page?id=1 is bad URL structure

    The second post: I'm guessing you are talking about Wordpress where you can manipulate the permalink structure. I stick with website.com/category-slug/post-name

    I prefer website.com/blog. Google treats subdomains differently from the root.

    The url structure must be domain-name/folder-name/filename
    .html is the user friendly url for SEO

    I think sub domain will not help you anything because Google treats it as a different domain so it would be good if you will go with root folder.

    It must be human readable first.SEO friendly URLs should be aimed at humans to encourage click throughs. They should not be aimed at search engines to influence rankings.
