What is the most played sport in the US?

the most played is basketball, then baseball, then football

 

I haven't read any stats on it. But I would definitely guess basketball, then baseball and football. Same order as the post above me That's just because you only need a basketball to play, well, basketball. Baseball is popular in America and football is popular too, but it's not played by youngsters as much.

Football would probably be the most watched sport.

The most popular in the world on the other hand is without a doubt real Football or soccer as Americans call it.
