what is the most important thing in SEO for a new site

Before doing any linkbuilding activities, your sites need some onpage revision. Put something in your metatags - keywords and description.

 

While your dashplanet.com site might provide some type of useful information to visitors, your oilcups.com site is pretty much just a spam site... absolutely worthless "content". I'm not even sure it could even be called content. That would imply that it provides some type of useful information.

If I go to oilcups.com I expect to learn all about "oil cups"... not "oil"... and a few types of random "cups". WTH does trophy cup, tea cup, world cup, etc. have to do with oil cups? Not a thing. Perhaps you'd like to throw "jock cup" on there as well.... Just a cheap SEO method to get the words "Oil" and "Cups" on the page because you couldn't come up with 'real' content about "oil cups". That might actually require some effort. Any "intelligent" visitor would immediately hit the back button as soon as your home page loaded.

Why do people build sites like this... Oh wait... Let me guess... you have another site you want to rank for "oil pumps" so you're throwing up this crap site so you can drop links on it to the other site and call them "relevant"... I would suggest /DELETE OILCUPS.COM.
