What is the most important - Link building or On page SEO ?

Do you spend more time on link building or on page seo?

What is more important and why?

 

i spend more time on link building, part of off-page.. which really takes time...

 

Building links IMHO ........ !!!!

 

It depends on what stage your site is on. Link building is not as important as on page in the beginning. Once you have most of your keywords figured out and optimized for on the site, then you should start link building like mad since you now know what keywords to put in the anchor and Title of the links. Once you look at your analytics after a month or two, you can tweak around your on page stuff to better fit the needs of your visitors, and keep building away at those links.

 

Well, if you look at it as onsite-SEO, then you could look at content as being most important, not just on a page. You can only do so much onpage-SEO.

With that thought, link building would be more important.

 

You need good content first, but on page stuff like keyword density, bolding, H tags and the like don't mean much anymore. Link quality is much more important.

 

I believe on page SEO is more important, but we deploy more effort on link building.

 

In today's marketing industry it is all about the links you have pointing back to your website. At first keyword research and on page seo is important, but once you have it completed the real work begins with building up your backlinks. Until google does a 180 degree turn with there algo, having strong links to your site is what you want to work on and where most of your time will be spent.

I would say my opinion on about Link building.Link building helps you to make your site to get more traffic,eventhough it takes time on building links,but its results will be very high.

If you don't have good content and 'onsite' seo done, links building is loosing time (and even money - you know, time is money ). But even good content is not easy to promote today, without help of good backlinks.

 

On page optimization lost her value since there are a lot of webmaster who are doing it perfectly so the search engine crawlers had to find other ways to rank the websites.

 

Link Building is more important for me too. Of course you cannot have a perfectly optimized web page, with an excellent Keyword Density, prominence and all those and get a #1 ranking on Google by just optimizing your web page. So Link Building is definitely more important for me.

 

It's true that link building is too much important. But google gives similar importance to internal linking also. & according to present scenario google gives importance to one way linking.

 

I think on page is more important
