    Hi Friends,

I have recently started Onpage of few sites in my company. I have to make 180 approx meta's for 30 different sites. I have created few of meta's but they are rejected in QC.

What is the main factors we would take care in creating title, meta des, & metra keywords? How it affects in PR and ranking?

Is there any tool which helps me in creating meta titles, Description and keywords?

    Regards
    Naveen

only meta description has some value on SEO term.

Title tage optimization : use your main keywords on first of starting title tag
meta description : it has some value on serp so don't forget to place your keywords on meta description
meta keywords : just put some keywords and forget it

i don't know about meta tags effect on PR but if your doing well than your ranking will increased.

i don't know about any tool for creating meta tags and title tags properly

Many people tend to believe or think that Meta Tags plays a very important role in SEO, well FYI - it doesn't or at least how Google thinks about it.

Hope that clears most of the confusion in meta tags.

Title Tag </title> - not a meta tag and is very important to use especially if you want to add keywords to denote relevancy to your website.

Meta Description <meta name="description" content="____"> - Is useful in a sales point of view, helps you attract visitors more with a very good, interesting snippet of description from your website or webpage. Google doesn't give much weight to this anyway as it gets spammed the same with meta keywords.

Meta Keyword <meta name="keyword" content="____"> - Is utterly useless, Google gives no weight nor importance to it because people tends to spam it any Google hates spam. Some other SEs might still be using it today and maybe no more tomorrow.

    Here's what I recommend:

Title Tag: Add your primary keywords with a combination of secondary keywords. Write title tag in "call-to-action" mode and within 70 characters limit.

Description Tag: Include a brief note about the page content. Also, add a phone number in case your are offering any services or products. Character limit is somewhere around 135-160.

    Keyword Tag:
As this tag is of no importance, neither for visitors and nor for search engines, you can anyway include your primary and secondary keywords, relevant to the content of your web page(s). Character limit is 255 for meta keyword tag.

    Hope this helps.

Although Title is not a meta tag but still it needs most of the attention and care. then come out the meta description. nothing else is much important.

Some marketers and SEO companies believe that your meta details are not as important as they always have been. While this may be true, it can only help you to do it properly. Make the title of your page the exact same as the keywords that page is targeting. The meta keywords should be, well, the keywords of that page of course. Just like the title. The description should be a unique description with the keywords implanted somewhere within it.

    Hello Naveen,

I am Avinash from SSIS...I like to let you know that

While writing title === use two three anchor text sentence with 80 character... and use pipe sign | in between the anchor text...

keyword - use good keywords, if you are having good site status then use high density keyword and if not then use low density keyword.

Description - do not put much keyword in description, because already the meta title and keyword contains the keyword....make a suitable and powerful description using word "Free, buy, sell, affordable, best, top," and etc.

    Thanks you
    Avinash (SSIS)
