I keep myself from buying things I don't need. Im not much of a impulsive buyer and when I am its mostly food and other consumable product. Everyone makes fun of me because im so frugal with my money they hate going shopping with me because I have a cart full of stuff and by the time Im ready to do i've put most of it back because I always ask myself if I need it?, what will happen if I don't have it?, do I need this to function?, does it have long term or short term gain?, What alternatives can I buy for cheaper or get at no cost (legally). If your ask yourself those questions before you ever buy anything you will save a lot of money...
I bought 2 of those 32 Gb pendrives from a salesman for 35$ a piece. Later I found out they were fake. Kingston does not make 32Gb pen drives. What a waste...
The most expensive useless thing I bought was my Mobile phone with cost me around $500 and after a week, My uncle gifted me the same model
