Golf and car racing. Not everyone can take part in car racing unlike golf. The huge cost forplaying golf is the equipment and if you have to join a club to use field this cost gradually adds up. This is unlike football where you can play in an open space or field and don't need a fancy gear just a ball.
The most expensive sport is Basket ball. The equipment and facilities are more expensive than that of golf. Thanks Joshua
GOLF AND F1 racing are the most expensive sports. Government should give rebate on sports material so that one can afford to play that sport if interested.
I think Golf is the most expensive game in the world but not sure Football are best expensive sport in world
cricket is a cheap game , i would say gold is not as much expensive sports as most members are thinking. sports car racing and polo are much expensive sports according to me.
Golf is the most popular and most of the expensive game in the world. But few countries in the world which is mainly play golf game. In India golf is not a most popular game.
I'm gonna go with golf also. You need the equipment which is expensive and you will also need a huge space just to play it. You can play basketball or football just about anywhere where there is a field and it doesnt even have to be a large space but golf does require it.
Downhill mountain biking absolutely tops it. I am lately spending more on parts and maintainance then on my car. Also my bike now costs more than what people's cars cost. But it is so rewarding
You have to look at it from two angles. There are sports that you personally play such as golf, tennis, cycling, cricket, ping pong, basketball, and then there are sports that require a lot more equipment and maintenance then for just personal use such as POLO, Formula 1 Racing, etc which are a lot more expensive. For personal use I would agree that golf does hit the wallet harder then most other sport due to continual green fees to play at golf courses, driving range sessions, Equipment and sometimes anger management classes. I am joking on the last part of that last sentence but kind of not at the same time. For the sports that require more equipment and maintenance i would say formula 1 because of the cost of the vehicle, crew, and other associated costs with the sport.
For personal sport i beleive golf does put a dent in the wallet. For professional sport i beleive NFL due to very very high salaries and injuries.
