Hi everyone, I have been reading threads regarding favorite sports and best sports flooding in this section. But now, I am curious to this topic. So, let me ask you a simple and intriguing question: For you, what is the most expensive sport? And Why? Please share your ideas here. Thanks.
Hahah! I honestly believe GOLF is most expensive for me. Set of clubs (with the bag and all necessary/other stuff that goes in it) can set you back average about a $1000. Practicing at the range is about $15 , no to mention some times you end up spending more just to get rid of stress. Going out the field set you about $50 average. I guess depending on how often you golf, the price will vary. I know some of my co-workers and friends who golf nearly every day , whether its practicing or at field.
Golf hands down. I remember my buddy told me, "Why doesn't everyone play golf, it's not expensive"...I was like "really?" He used to play a lot back in High School and College
I vote for golf as many people fear it to the extent of terming it "a rich man's sport" Much will have to be done to change that perspective
I played most of the games but according to me i think golf is the expensive game to play than all other games hope so.
I'd have to say Football (NFL) The players get paid so much money and it's just by far crazy. Same goes for Basketball and Baseball. As for sports you want to do, I'd say racing and golf since the equipment you need is extremely expensive.
I'd have to agree that golf is quite an expensive sport. Have you seen the prices of golf clubs today? Then there's the club membership you have to pay to use a standard golf course.
If you want to participate, car racing and powerboat racing. Polo, showjumping and anything else "horsey" are also very expensive.
Undoubtedly it is Golf.. However I remember playing at a few courses early on, mostly on the driving range which came out to be quite cheap as it was a package learning. It eventually led to highly discounted greefees. I'd put tennis and polo next to it
