I think this is the most relevant category, just a random question. Sorry if it's not.

Just wondering, what is the most expensive domain you or someone you know has purchased? and how much for?

Mine was for £100

 

£15 a year for a .com (annual renewal), and £11.99 for a .co.uk (£22.98 for 2 years) when available

Was looking at the SEDO listings the other day, and I found one going for $75k minimum offer featuring the .com version of a word that's generally banned from use on most places on the interweb where people are allowed to post comments.

Arizona.com is apparently up for grabs with a minimum offer of $525k

SEOSEM.com is currently available for a minimum offer of $44,888 but I ain't made enough money from trying to do that yet to stump up that kind of money.

 

A good topic. However, I would like to ask about whether the .org extension is exclusively for organizations only. If my blog's domain name has the .org extension, In my case, for example, "sympastream.org". does it have any negative impact on my website's ranking ?

£35. I bought it from a guy on here because it was a Pagerank 4 and I thought I would make a lot of money writing sponsored posts. However, within a couple of weeks of owning it the PR dropped to 0. To this day I'm still not sure if it was because of replacing the content or if the seller forged the PR.
