I love minimum wage, it always gets raised around election season. No one really knows what impact it has on an overall economy. If it really is the answer to a problem, I would like to see $20 an hour everywhere in the states...
€ 8,10 per hour / from 23 years of age. This is in the Netherlands. Yes, if you look at the currency this will exceed 10$ per hour.
I forgot to mention. If you're an illegal immigrant from Mexico (we have millions of them here in the US), you have no minimum wage. You'll work for $10 a DAY and like it. So, we have two minimum wages. In Nevada, there are tons of illegal immigrants. A lot in Texas, Arizona and California too. I guess the lesson is, come here legally. If not, you'll get taken advantage off day and night.
Nice. I think minimum wage was about $5 here some 15 years ago. And we wonder why so many resort to government aid. Inflation goes up 3% annually on average, yet the minimum wage doesn't move. Today's $5.15 an hour would have been about $3.93 in 1991. The minimum wage should be around $8 to keep up with inflation.
$13.74 per hour is the minimum wage any Australian worker can be paid. $522.12 Australian dollars (US$447.49) per week.
LOL $13.74 an hour. Many min. wage workers in America would think they hit the lotto if they got that.
Damn, I'm moving to Australia! $7.50 here in NY. I don't even bother. I can make more than that writing content.
