What is the minimum a publisher can receive per click? I have about 300 click and only $2.90 from it. Google needs to revert back to like 3 cent minimum click.
That sucks. Anyway, Google is checking if they are valid clicks thats why sometimes you will receive $0/click.
Zip zero, zilch, nada!!! Invalid clicks don't pay a penny! Then you got CPM...I'm guessing that can be less than a penny depending on the domain!!!!
It's just market forces, nothing to do with what google want or don't want. If no-one is willing to pay more than 1c for that type of ad, then that is the rate, if lots of people want to pay more the price gets pushed up. If someone wants to enter that market they can do, for just 2c a click, but they haven't, so you got to ask why. Presumably the returns don't justify the expense, even at that price. Take a look at what is happening on the sites that are paying 1c (no, don't click on the ads to find out, just type in the URL!) - are they selling something, or hoping to get clicks themselves etc. Could you make a profit from doing the same thing but paying 2c-5c per click? If so, go for it!
I agree with what you've said Rasputin but I also think that if Google announced a minimum CPC, then most advertisers will comply and pay that amount instead of shopping elsewhere. By no means I am saying the minimum has to be set to $1.
Why show them in the stats if they don't count? That doesn't seem to make that much sense if you ask me... I would understand if they had another column for INVALID Clicks, but why show the clicks if they do not count?
I agree if there are invalid clicks they should be reported separately. Also it would be nice to post a minimum cpc for my sites. In some cases I'd rather show no ad than one that will one pay 1c.
that depents on keyword. some of the keywords cost high , some of them are low . Only G knows price of keywords
Not if they start losing money. Obviously those keywords are profitable at whatever amount = 1cent to the publisher but not at the value where 2cents is paid to the publisher.
Google should defienetly seperate the valid clicks and the invalid ones. Really frustrating when you get a lot of clicks but the average payout is less than 1c per click. btw, does anyone know if google pays out parts of cents for clicks? It is possible to buy clicks in adwords for as low as 1c, and i guess google wants it cut from that cent also, leaving less than 1c to the person showing the ad.
As google specified in its site that minimum CPC can be 0.01 $ I am wondering...any body got 1000's on 0.01$ per Click
CPC is cost per click right.. Does this mean they also pay out 1 cent for the cents that cost the advertiser 1 cent?
The lowest I've seen is $0.02 per click. Guess I've been lucky so far for not getting those $0.01 clicks.
Well, the lowest you can earn, without it being a 0 (click fraud) is 1 cent. Proxy and arcade sites typically earn around 1 cent.
