What is the meaning of Duplicate thread in DP

    I have got 2 infractions due to Duplicate thread. Rather I have seen many times same thread posted again and again on DP. Please let me know the actual meaning of Duplicate thread. I am really Frustrated to got this kind of infractions from DP and I dont want make it again.
    Please advice me.

    Seriously though, what you need to do is post the duplicate threads here that got you in trouble. Nobody can judge anything without evidence.

    The part in bold is the precise reason you've got an infraction. If you posted a thread, and then re-posted it some days later because you couldn't bump the former, you'll get an infraction.

    You may advertise a product or service once. If you do it again and there aren't significant changes to the offer (not just something like lowering the price b/c no one's buying for example), it's a duplicate thread. If you see other duplicate threads use the report post button to let us know. Don't ever assume you can do something just because other members are doing it. Review the rules / FAQs to find out what is and isn't allowed.
