GREED. That appears to be the underlying cause of most of the problems in the U.S. The current economy is a direct result of GREED over the last decade or so. And most other problems can also be traced back to GREED.
I think India lack political will power. Here big parties are running on same ideology as they use to like congress always have same kind of agenda. another big party is BJP and I don't like them for there hate politics. Many regional party are there but Know one is good enough. I think more people should think to be politician basically youth. New people can bring change in Indian politics and can change India.
I am also an Indian. Main problem is unemployment in India. Population, pollution, Poverty are also main problems in India. All Indian must try to minimize these problems first.
In England it would be easier to list things that aren't a problem. I'm seriously considering moving to the internets.
Reading reviews of so many Indians here, I wonder whether it really the politicians who are the real problem, or the people and their attitude. Caste, Creed, Color and Sex are chosen as the primary yardsticks in India while determining someone's capabilities. THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM! We choose corrupt politicians who, in our psyche, will benefit our religion, community or region more- THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM We don't go out to vote and let the politicians buy a few unemployed people for a few ruppees and get them into voting for them- AGAIN, A MAJOR PROBLEM THE ROOT OF ALL MAJOR PROBLEMS?- Us, the ever so, "blaming on others" Indians!
In India, the major problems is:- 1. Politicians are twisting and bending things whichever they like. They have taken every thing for granted and play with the public's emotions. It them who are the cause of riots and major disruption and damages to the public services and they still roam around freely. 2. Cricket is being too much importance. Other sports players get worse then 3rd class treatment where as these cricketers are given VVVIP treatment. No matter they win the match or not, they are always in huge profits. They get more money from sponsorships and advertisements. I think sports should be an art & talent which should not be weighed with money. In India, cricket is just a money making machine. I think its in the public interest to ban cricket in India and give more importance to other sports like football, hockey, volleyball, tennis and other such sports. After all billions of Rupees is spent on cricket which is actually public's money. This money can be utilised for various developments. 3. Government officers including excise, police etc think they are the landlords of this country and they live a royal life by harassing the public for personal interest. They are the ones who are the biggest thugs in India. Just my thoughts.
