corruption is everywhere, just differs in amounts given Well, one of our problems is the opposite, decrease in population of Russia. So, now any family who has a baby, get around $10k in the long run....lets see how well it will work out.
Let's not forget overpopulation which has the same basis as corruption: Control of Philippine society by the Church which absolves corruption through confession and exhorts the people to have children whether or not they can afford them or are physically or emotionally ready for them. As a result there are thousands of abandoned street kids--some of whom are little more than toddlers--just in Metro-Manila alone, but the CBCP (Catholics Bishop Conference of the Philippines) then turns its back on them. Perhaps I'm mistaken but I don't think that there is one Catholic orphanage in this country.
India is a developing country and it's making progress on a lot of fronts. But still, there are a number of huge problems like 1. Corruption - corrupt assholes working in government institutions make me sick. 2. Lack of hygiene - you can't find clean places for people have dumped their crap everywhere. 3. Lack of strong political will - we always succumb to pressure from everyone right from terrorists to crazy ass opposition parties. 4. Pathetic system - People still clinging on to age old social laws which are completely outdated. Kris
total indifference of the rich/middle class towards the poor and deprived, which constitute nearly half of India.
India - Corruption and Politicians are the greatest problems in our country. They are the real cause for all the other problems like poverty, unemployment, lack of rural growth etc. I sometimes get a strong feeling to kill all the politicians
