Main thing is Unique Content because lots of my posts ranked very well without backlinks but not without unique content.
2nd factor is similar niche backlinks, it boosts my ranking.

Yes content means a lot, but content must be not just pretty words in a line it have to SEO content, If you have you even don't need backlinks!

Hi brijeshtiwari1984. In my opinion there is no one SEO factor alone that can make the difference but several factors working in synergy to achieve the main goal.

Now I myself am not an SEO expert and that's why I use a nice plugin for my wordpress blog and this plugin is called YoastSEO.

That little piece of software is so awesome that once you have enter the text of your post it will show you (below the post area) what are the factors that need to be improved and the ones that you have right.

It might tell you something like "your keyword density is too low" or "your title is too long etc".

You'll just need to follow the tutorials and you'll be just fine. That plugin is free as well as the tutorials.

So again I think you can't just think of one SEO factor that's going to make the work by itself.

Now on the other hand once people get to your site thanks to your SEO the content must be awesome otherwise your SEO efforts would have not been woth it.

This type of question can be very opinionated because as you know, Google has hundreds of different algorithms it uses to rank websites: Title tags, keywords, bounce rates, links, etc.

As an SEO Marketing Intern for around 11 months now, initially I was taught that the main SEO activity to focus on was keyword optimization. Then the focus became links many months later. Then the focus became content. Can you see the pattern here? SEO focuses change over time. While some factors can be more important than others it's smart to do many different things and not, "put all of your eggs in one basket."

To answer your question, the most important thing you could probably do currently is to put out good quality content that people would want to read and move on from there. I just started a self hosted blog on WordPress recently so I know how you're feeling not knowing which direction to go in. Hopefully this helps. Thanks.
