What is the main drive for Digital Point?

I would like to do a preliminary marketting survey and get some answers which would help lot of people over here who ask the question, how to build a community? Please be honest.

Dp have got huge quality content and trade part. so dp is important for me.

 

Exactly my reason for coming here. Everyone is always helpful and full of information.

 

this is by far the most friendly and open forums I've been a part of....I was surprised that shawn himself answered a couple of my first posts....that blew me away....I've been in other forums and they are usually stuck up until you find a way to break into the circle...

 

I gained 50% of what I know regarding running an online business from this forum... so many great members here with a load of knowledge

 

shawn is a cool guy, yes he earns a lot but he is not a bastard like some web masters

Personally I like the fact that DP has very cool/helpfull people, and the mods are not acting like dictators.

For example at SP no matter if you have 10.000 posts and post something please help me to promote www.........com your post is deleted or even banned

 

also, many people use DP for their main business generation tool, in the buy/sell section

 

Initially, DP was a great resource to come to because of the excellent tools Shawn developed. To this day, people love to use them. They're good for anyone looking for free tools to use online.

So, what drives people? Tools that are very useful and free. What keeps them coming back? Adsense Revenues (...sorta...), finding DP in SE's, etc...

 

I think its largely in part due to the large marketplace here.
