What is the long term solution for "Thin Content" for affiliate websites?

We all are now familiar with the term "Thin Content". It is low quality content.

Thin content is very common problem with affiliate websites, as they are made to promote someone's else product. And the product website contains all info around it. Nothing new left to write. Re-writing, merging content of few websites, re-categorizing details etc are able to pass the copyscape tests... but information is same.

I know google suggests to do something new for affiliate websites... like comparison of products, making list of something etc. But everyone is doing that, even beyond that. Something new can be done if one own 1-2 websites. What if there are dozens of websites?

I request big and successful affiliate marketers to bring some light to this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

May I suggest an idea, couple your affiliate marketing with CPM advertising, this way you are almost guarenteed income, though it wont help your conversion rate.

Personally, I don't like CPM advertising thing as it make site look like a cheap site. But I may do it for $$. :) Thanks for suggestion.

Looking for some thoughts on how to create new valuable content for affiliate sites.
