    You guys.

Among the dedicated server services offered there is the following:

Load Balancing Port - (Balance Traffic Across Multiple/Redundant Servers)

Could you pls explain what does this service consist in and how it helps dedicated servers.

    Thanks.

Basically, you have multiple servers serving the same website. Each server will get a turn to serve the website, which in turn this will balance the load between multiple servers. High visits website will need this type of setup.

    Thanks Camay.
So there will be another server with the same HDD or just another CPU ifrom another server is used?
    It's not clear to me...
Btw it's cost is 50$ month so I suppose it isn't a separate server with the same HDD. Am I right?

the 50$ a month is probably just for the load balancing unit that 2 servers or more will connect into it. You would have to pay for 2 dedi servers + the 50$, but for a more precise response, you should ask your provider.

I disagree with the explaination. Load balancing are not used on server it used on the network aka connection. Its more like if 1 connection fail there are still another connection to your server. to the load between network are balanced to avoid disconnection.

++ Dont get confused with FailOver server and Load Balancing
