Hi to All, Google is using the old algorithm for meta tags. I know that google follow only 69 characters in meta title. If here is any changes then please share your view on this topic. Thanks
I think that people says we should have meta title with 64 character because google only shows 64 char. But according to my research you can have length exceed than this just keep in mind tat do not stuff the keywords adn do not repeat..
Hi, Right, you could use no more than 70 characters in your title tags but not meta title tag. They are 2 different tags in HTML. all the best,
I use 65 some say, 63, 64, 68, 69, but no more than 70 if you wanna play safe, use 60, or just like me, use 65
Please ensure that its 64-66 chars but nicely written. This is the most important aspect of clickability. A badly written Title could drive away viewers even if your site has top rank on SERPs
I was also curious about the importance of including your company name at the beginning of the Title Tags? I read somewhere that you should put company name at the end of the Title, but what if people bookmark your site. Extra Clean Inc | Window Cleaning Service | High-Rise Window Washing
I also try to restrict my titles upto 65 characters only when creating titles for my blog posts and pages
65 characters is good for title as per google but do not use repeated keywords.People using up to 70.i don't know about meta tag line.
There is a limit of 60 to 65 characters including space that we can use for the Title Tag and it is the standard defined by the Google and I always try to follow that.
According to Wordpress All-in-One SEO Pro plugin and also Thesis premium theme, the meta title tag is of 60 chars and meta description is 160 chars. There is nothing wrong if you exceed this limit, it just won't show up fully and will get truncated in search engine visibility. However, the page itself will show it fully and robots will read it fully. So if there's keywords, it won't get ignored except for the fact that truncated titles will show up in search engines.
